Did you know? Medicaid provides healthcare coverage to one in five Americans. That includes 40% of all children and 60% of all nursing home residents. Yet in May, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to slash Medicaid funding, which would be devastating for millions of people who are already struggling.

All this just to offset huge tax giveaways to billionaires and big corporations.

We can stop it, though. The Senate has yet to pass this bill, and it may have to go back to the House for yet another vote. Before those votes, can we count on you to push back against these cuts by taking this quick action?

As a reminder, here are the stakes for Washington if this bill passes:

• More than 100,000 Washingtonians will lose life saving medication, medical procedures and care.
• We could see an increase in our state taxes by shifting billions in Apple Health and Medicaid costs to Washington’s low and middle income families.
• We will experience another $127.9 million loss in state and local tax revenue, putting additional responsibility on taxpayers.
