Hi friend,

The Washington State Standard just reported that Governor Ferguson is proposing 6% cuts to the budget of nearly every agency in the state.

In total, that means hundreds of millions fewer dollars invested in programs that fund housing and workforce training, that update our schools, that make childcare affordable, and that strengthen mental health care.

We can’t afford these cuts and we can’t afford to let the super-rich out of their responsibility to pay what they owe.

Legislators need to hear from you, and we’ve made it easy for you to take action. Choose an issue you care about listed below, click the button, and send a personalized email on that topic to your legislators reminding them why keeping these programs fully funded is essential.

Let’s be clear, Washington has a budget deficit because our super wealthy don’t pay what they owe in taxes. Taking this action will remind legislators to focus on raising new revenue rather than cutting services that Washingtonians rely on.

Thank you for taking action,

Libby
